WOMEN INTO THE BLUE
Women into the Blue is a graphic novel about three women from different myths coming together to tell a story that is both ancient and modern. One day these different stories come together in the Mediterranean Sea, making one single reality.
TOTO
Secret daughter of Medusa and Poseidon, Toto has had a happy childhood until Perseus murders her mother. She left Greece to take refuge into the Mediterranean Sea, helped by Octopus. Toto inherited a deadly gaze, when angry, from her mother. As she attempts to deal with her feelings she must wear protective eyewear to spare unsuspecting males from her uncontrolled rage.
Lilith
After having being quite disappointed by some weird relationships (first Adam then Satan), she’s decided to become a wine-maker. But human absurdity will find her and make her move from her vines to find the sea.
The graphic novel will be presented during Oxfordshire Artweeks at Oxford Make Space from the 3th of May to 11th 2025 as well as at the London Business Center from 9th to 12th.
SONEANTA
After being lost at sea fleeing her own country, she is rescued by seals and made a selkie to live in and out of the water. She settles on the coast of Ireland but is trapped into marriage on the land.
